In 2008, over 300 compliance professionals gathered at the picturesque Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando. It was a different year, full of different issues. There were daily headlines about the continued subprime mortgage crisis, large banks failing, and CRA was under attack. For four days attendees delved into the latest regulatory trends and new requirements in CRA, fair lending and HMDA. They heard insights and best practices advice from their peers, and they listened to eloquent guidance from their regulators. And they also had some fun. Check out the photos. Are you there?
