Community Impact Award
Each year, people in communities across the nation realize their dreams of owning a home and gaining access to capital because of the ongoing dedication of financial institutions and the professionals that work together in the community for positive change.
The purpose of the Community Impact Award is threefold: to honor dedicated compliance professionals and their institutions, to encourage innovative community lending, and to provide the financial industry with examples of programs that work. The winners will accept this nationally advertised award from a prestigious panel of bankers and consultants at the 2009 CRA & Fair Lending Colloquium, to which they will each receive a complimentary registration.
Who
You can nominate yourself and your program, or a program from another institution. The person nominated should be someone who has been instrumental in developing, implementing, or maintaining the program.
What
The award recognizes a CRA or community development program and the person responsible for implementing or maintaining the program within the financial institution. The program must be currently operating. Any financial institution in the U.S. is eligible, including banks, mortgage companies, and credit unions.
When
The deadline for receipt of entries is September 9th, 2009. The award ceremony will take place Tuesday October 6th, at 9:30 am at the CRA & Fair Lending Colloquium in New Orleans, LA.
